Just a small portion of the drink menu at this amazing bar in Amsterdam. Every wall in the bar had this gorgeous handwriting of whiskeys and scotches that you could order.

I went for a stroll around the hostel this morning in search of some razors. It was about time to kill the monster of a beard that has been growing. One really understands the convenience of convenience stores on adventures like this. No apothecaries open, but I did manage to get 3 bic razors from a liquor store at 11 am.

Interior of St.Barbara’s Cathedral in Kunta Hora, Czech Republic. Katie and I made a quick day trip via train to this town, which was about an hour outside of Prague. Two things we wanted to do were to view this church and the ossuary called Kostnice. The ceiling that you see here must have been at least 150 ft up, the scale of this church was quite appreciable. The exterior was more stunning; gothic architecture at its finest covered by hundreds of years of black soot. Quite imposing!

Bags are all packed up on the porch of our wood cabin in Smaratun, Iceland. From this cabin you could see red from the volcanic eruption at night. Even writing about this months later still makes me excited.

Colors are not exaggerated. The silica and blue algae in the water are responsible for the surreal coloring. This was a small path in front of the blue lagoon spa. This is one of Iceland’s largest geothermal hot springs.
